I just went to the Marigold Kitchen for the first time since the new chef took over, and cannot say enough about what a great time we had. The food was lovely-- fresh and refined without being gimmicky or pretentious. The service was perfect, friendly and attentive. I hate grits, but the Marigold's are brilliant. Our party of 8 enjoyed a leisurely dinner on a Saturday night and, to the restaurant's credit, they never as much as hinted that there were people waiting for our tables. I can't wait to go back, and I know it will be soon.

This is one of the best restaurants in Philly! the food is always fresh, creative and innovative. The chef has won lots of awards too. Sometimes its hard to get in but try for a Tuesday-Thursday and you may have some luck. It's definitely worth checking out.
